WW2 Mass Grave - Podoima

A golden-painted soldier-liberator stands on a red granite pedestal, head held to his chest. A gilt laurel wreath circles the dates 1941 to 1945, flanked by two kneeling mourning figures – a woman laying flowers, and a solider lowering a banner. Black slab name-panels wrap the brick-faced wings. An extinguished eternal flame stands in front of the monument.
