Memorial to Heroes - Scaieni

This memorial located in front of the school "Liceul Teoretic Frumusica" features a stoic, stylized female statue, draped in a long cloak - probably representing the Motherland, if not a mourning woman.The statue stands atop a pedestal with an engraved granite plaque listing names of the fallen, headed by the Russian inscription: "ВЕЧНАЯ ПАМЯТЬ ГЕРОЯМ" (Eternal memory to the heroes).
