Statue - Lenin - Hristovaia

Lenin in dark patinated metal, coat thrown back off one shoulder mid-stride, mounted on a squat plinth clad in pink-red face brick. The surface is mottled with corrosion and pale mineral staining. Lenin is frequently depicting wearing a long jacket, so this shorter half-length jacket is unique. The plinth looks to have been renovated more recently: the brick base is a later addition, cruder than the figure it carries.
