Palace of Culture - Soroca

The principal facade of the palace of culture in Soroca is organised as a full-width curtain wall of smoked glass and white concrete verticals rising above a recessed ground-floor loggia with a flat canopy over the central entrance. This composition is rather typical of the standard culture house. The building sits set back from the street behind a broad paved forecourt, flanked by a war memorial and a Chernobyl monument.
